located in Sekumpul Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. Sekumpul Waterfall is one of the natural tourist attractions in Bali.

This place is an alternative tourist attraction apart from the beaches and culture that are often found on the Island of the Gods.

The history of the Sekumpul waterfall

The history of name Sekumpul waterfall has several versions. Firstly, this name was taken because, in the same location, there is a group of waterfalls that can be enjoyed.

Some of the names of these waterfalls are Gitgit Waterfall, Lemukih Waterfall, Munduk Waterfall, and Les Buleleng Waterfall. The distance is only 2,5 kilometers apart.

However, some say that the name Sekumpul is taken from the two main waterfalls which are close to each other.

Balinese people often refer to it as  The Ceburan waterfall.

Even though they are close together, these two waterfalls come from different springs.

There are waterfalls that come from rivers and there are those that come from natural springs

Sekumpul Waterfall has a beautiful panorama. This waterfall area is surrounded by rocky paths and various green plants around it.

The rocks around this waterfall pool often become photo spots for tourists.

You can also see the beauty of the waterfall from the hill which is located opposite the waterfall. The height of this waterfall is around 40 meters

The road to Sekumpul Waterfall

To get to the waterfall, you will walk about 300 meters through the forest from the entrance to the tourist area.

During the trip, you will be treated to stunning forest views.

You will pass through a path in the form of concrete steps that have been prepared by the management with strong handrails.

You will pass around 350 to 365 steps.

As you pass the stairs, you will hear the roar of the waterfall which will increase your enthusiasm to walk towards your goal.

The journey will continue by going down the stairs, then you cross a small river using the wooden bridge provided before finally arriving at the location.

The tourist area also has other waterfalls that you can explore

Sekumpul Waterfall Ticket Prices

To enjoy the beauty of Sekumpul Waterfall, you will be charged an entrance ticket price of IDR 20,000

If you want to do trekking you will be charged a special fee. Medium trekking, entrance ticket, and guide services are worth IDR 125,000/person.

Medium trekking tour to see the Sekumpul Waterfall area in more depth and see other hidden waterfalls. Long trekking, entrance ticket, and guide are charged IDR 200,000.

How to get the Sekumpul Waterfall?

Getting to this waterfall depends on where your position to start

The distance between Ngurah Rai Airport and this waterfall is around 95 km

But if you plan to stay in Bali for a long time and you are going to rent a room,

I suggest you stay around Denpasar because it is located in the middle of the island of Bali

Sekumpul waterfall is located in north Bali

There you can rent a motorbike, It will be very easy if you rent a motorbike while in Bali
