and the answer is “permissible and possible”
but with the condition of adequate equipment such as a tent, sleeping bag, sufficient tools and food for climbing, as well as climbing clothing including jackets.
However, when you climb this mountain, you should hire the services of a porter who, apart from carrying your load, also acts as a guide

Segara Anak Lake
Segara Anak Lake is the most sought-after tourist destination for mountain climbers because its beauty is truly enchanting, making this national park even more worth climbing.
This location can be reached from two official climbing routes, namely the Senaru climbing route and the Sembalun climbing route.
It takes around 7 – 10 hours to walk (± 8 km) from the gate of the climbing route. Meanwhile, from the Sembalun climbing route, it takes 8 – 10 hours.
Around this lake, you can camp or fish or you can also soak in hot water which contains sulfur
Apart from that, there are also some Caves ( Goa ) such as Goa Susu, Goa Manik, Goa Payung, and Goa Susu which are believed to be a medium for self-reflection and are often used as a place for meditation.
Meanwhile, at the bottom of Lake Segara Anak, there is a hot spring which is usually used by local residents to test objects with magical powers
How to Get to Mount Rinjani
We assume the way to get to Mount Rinjani starts from Lombok
here is the route
From Mataram Mandalika Terminal
From this terminal, take a mode of public transport or Elf-type car to Aikmel Market.
Travel time is about one hour. From the market, take a car to Sembalun (the location of Mount Rinjani) for an estimated two hours.
From Lombok International Airport
Take the Damri bus to Mataram Damri Terminal for about one hour.
From this terminal, you can walk to Mandalika Terminal, then do the same route as in the first point, and then head to Sembalun.
Operating hours and ticket prices
Mount Rinjani is open every day for climbing and the entry ticket fee for Indonesian citizens is IDR 5,000 for weekdays and IDR 75,000 for weekends,
while for foreign tourists the ticket is one hundred and fifty thousand rupiah for weekdays and IDR 250,000 for weekends.
