It covers an all-out area of 891.65 km², 97% of which is marine territory.

The excess 3% of the recreation area is earthbound, including the five islands of Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage, Nain, and Siladen.

The southern piece of the Recreation area covers part of the Tanjung Kelapa coast

How to get to Bunaken Beach?

Bunaken Beach is located in the Bunaken district

is about 11 km from the city of Manado

the access road to Bunaken beach is very easy, you only need to cross from the pier which is in the city of Manado to this beach

The time needed to cross from the pier to Bunaken is only about 40 minutes

But if you land at Sam Ratulangi airport to Manado city, it will take you about 45 minutes.

So the total time you need if you depart from the airport to Bunaken beach is around 1.5 hours

Bunaken beach-Route details

To visit this beach, you can start your journey using public transportation from Sam Ratulangi Airport to Terminal Pal 2.

After arriving at terminal Pal 2, you can continue their journey to Pasar 45 by connecting to public transportation.

Then you can walk to Kuala Jengki Pier. After that, continue the journey by boat to the location.

If you depart from Jakarta, the cost of a plane ticket depends on how much you get because the price of a plane ticket is always changing

But if you depart from the city of Manado, the cost you need to prepare is only around IDR 200,000 or around $ 15
