At around 02.00 Am, we start to leave the inn by driving a car from the hotel.

Here the trip uses a Jeep Hardtop, or if you travel alone you can also use a motorbike.

Hardtop car rental costs around IDR 400,000, if you travel alone you can join other groups to make it cheaper

Because it was still dark, the panorama on the way was not clearly visible even though the road was winding.

Around 3 am we stopped at the post before starting the journey to the top of Mount Bromo to see the sunrise

Be ready for Sunrise

Bromo Mountain

ready for sunrise

Around 3.45 am we were in a place like a small hall to prepare to see the sunrise on Mount Bromo from a height.

Even though it was still dark, I could see the silhouette of the mountain with the expanse of clouds accompanied by the stars.

Just a suggestion, if you want to wait for the sun to come up here, it’s better to wear a thick jacket, headgear, gloves, long pants, and shoes, because the air is really cold.
